01 / From an idea to an object
The character is here.
The craft comes next.
The faceted cloak. The sheltered bottle. A figure with somewhere to go. The ambition is to carry that character into a carefully made object, with the same attention to detail as the world it comes from.
We are exploring production with makers. The first physical sample is not yet commissioned; funding and an agreed production plan are the next steps.

A character takes shape
The hood, the bottle, the quiet stance. This visual study is the starting point for turning Voyager into a sculpture.
- 02Being explored
The maker's conversation
Production approaches are being discussed. Sculpture, materials, finish and cost need to work together before a commission can begin.
- 03Next milestone
The first physical proof
A funded, approved sample would let us judge the object in the hand: its silhouette, weight, surface and detail.
- 04Proposed
An edition finds its people
With the sample and production plan agreed, a small edition could leave the workshop, each object with its own identity and continuing story.
Individual stories.
02 / A small beginning
Made to be kept.
Free to go places.
We are exploring a first edition of 21 Voyagers: a small circle of objects with room for real craftsmanship and a life beyond the workshop.
A travelling piece could bring the work into ateliers and exhibitions, connecting people who first met Voyager on a screen with the object itself.
The edition size, materials, finish, price and timing will follow the approved sample and funding plan. Crowdfunding is one route being considered; no campaign or reservations are open yet.

An object leaves.
Its story stays with it.
Voyager is also a first application of a wider XO idea: give objects a lasting connection to their origin, their care and the people and places that shape their lives.
An object passport could bring those chapters together. A gallery visit, an exhibition, a careful repair or a new keeper could become part of a growing history, supported by records of what actually happened.

Relations / Three threads in the living world
The ideas already have a home.
These are scenes from the XO story. Follow their quests to discover the thinking behind Voyager.

When a prototype becomes a promise.
The story asks what a maker should reproduce. Voyager gives that question a physical ambition.

Together, an edition. Individually, a life.
An object's history can begin before it meets its first collector.

Care belongs in the story, too.
A change, a repair, another pair of hands. The next chapter should remember the last.
